About
HubSpot sells cloud software for marketing, sales, customer service, website content and data management, with every product working on one shared CRM database.[2] The company was founded in 2006 by Brian Halligan and Dharmesh Shah and is based in Boston, Massachusetts.[1] It sells six hubs (Marketing, Sales, Service, Content, Data and Revenue), each with free tools and paid Starter, Professional and Enterprise editions.[1][8]
Paid editions are priced per seat, with a general Core Seat costing more on each higher edition and dearer Sales, Service and Revenue Seats for specialist users; each plan includes a monthly allowance of HubSpot Credits, and credits used beyond it are bought in packs or billed pay-as-you-go.[7] Customers buy under the HubSpot Customer Terms of Service, whose subscriptions renew automatically and may be repriced up to the then-current list price at renewal.[5]
