Datadog Log Management collects, processes and stores application and infrastructure logs and is billed in two parts: a per-gigabyte charge for ingesting, processing and archiving logs, and separate per-million-event charges for keeping them searchable, either in the Standard Indexing tier or in the cheaper Flex tiers for infrequently read logs.[1] Retention longer than 30 days in the Standard tier and the Flex Compute query instances are quoted by sales, and forwarding logs to a customer's own destinations is priced per outbound gigabyte per destination.[1][6] Headline rates assume an annual commitment, with higher on-demand rates, and fees are payable in US dollars.[1][2]
