Datadog Application Performance Monitoring traces requests through applications and services, and is sold per host per month in three tiers: APM, APM Pro, which adds Data Streams Monitoring, and APM Enterprise, which adds the Continuous Profiler.^[1] Each host licence includes 150 GB of ingested spans and one million indexed spans a month; volume beyond that is billed per gigabyte and per million spans at a rate set by the retention window, and retention longer than 30 days is quoted by sales.^[1] The headline rates assume an annual commitment with Infrastructure Monitoring on the same host; standalone and on-demand rates are higher, and fees are payable in US dollars.^[1]^[2]
