Cloud SIEM runs Datadog's detection rules over the logs a customer chooses to route to it, to find security threats, and is priced per gigabyte analysed per month, with twelve months of analysis and retention included in that rate.[1] Custom detection rules and the retention of generated signals carry no separate charge, while workflow automation is billed separately.[1] The headline rate assumes an annual commitment, with a higher on-demand rate, and fees are payable in US dollars.[1][2]
