Elastic Security is Elastic's SIEM and security-analytics service, run on Elastic Cloud Serverless with endpoint protection (Elastic Defend) included and no per-endpoint fees.^[1] It is sold in two tiers, Security Analytics Essentials and Security Analytics Complete, charged on usage per gigabyte ingested, per gigabyte retained each month and per gigabyte transferred after 50 GB a month; the AI SOC Engine (EASE) is priced the same way at introductory rates, and cloud posture and workload protection cost extra per asset.^[1] Most published rates are starting rates, the lowest a customer pays for each unit.^[1]
