About
Snowflake Openflow is Snowflake's managed data integration service, built on Apache NiFi, that moves data from outside sources into Snowflake through connectors running either on Snowflake-hosted compute or in the customer's own cloud account.[1] It has no price of its own in dollars: usage is metered in Platform Credits, at 0.0225 credits per vCPU per hour when it runs in the customer's cloud and 0.11 to 0.83 credits per hour by instance size when Snowflake hosts it, and each credit is billed at the account's edition and region rate, $2.00 on Standard in AWS US East (Northern Virginia).[2]
