About
Openflow is Snowflake's managed data integration service, built on Apache NiFi, which moves data from external sources into Snowflake through connectors that run either inside Snowflake or inside the customer's own cloud account.[1] Its compute is metered in Platform Credits per vCPU-hour for the bring-your-own-cloud deployment, while the Snowflake-hosted deployment is charged at the container-services instance rates.[2] Captured on 2026-09-18, the BYOC rate is 0.0225 Platform Credits per vCPU per hour and the Snowflake deployment runs from 0.11 to 0.83 Platform Credits per hour by instance family; Snowflake publishes no dollar price for Openflow itself, because a Platform Credit is billed at the account's edition and region rate.[2]
