Snowflake Postgres is a managed PostgreSQL-compatible transactional database that runs inside a Snowflake account, keeping operational tables next to the analytics platform without a separate pipeline.[1] Compute is metered in Platform Credits per hour by instance size, cloud provider and whether high availability is on, at 0.0068 to 9.8304 credits per hour on a single node and twice that with high availability, and a credit costs $2.00 on Standard edition in AWS US East (Northern Virginia).[2] Storage is priced apart from standard Snowflake storage, at $117.76 per TB per month in that region or $235.52 with high availability.[2]
