About

Cloud SQL is Google Cloud's managed relational database service for MySQL, PostgreSQL and SQL Server, offered in Enterprise and Enterprise Plus editions.^[1] It is billed on usage for CPU, memory, storage, networking and instances, new customers get $300 in free Google Cloud credits, and a Cloud SQL free trial instance can be used at no cost for a trial period before upgrading to a paid instance.^[4] Compute is priced per vCPU hour and per GiB of memory per hour, varies by region and edition, costs double for high-availability instances, and is cheaper under one- or three-year committed use discounts.^[2] The prices recorded here are the rates for the Iowa (us-central1) region; other regions are priced differently.^[2]
