About

Amazon Aurora is AWS's MySQL- and PostgreSQL-compatible managed database, charged for database instances, storage and any optional features enabled.[1] Aurora PostgreSQL serverless can be started under the AWS Free Tier, while instances are sold on demand or reserved.[1] Serverless capacity is billed per Aurora Capacity Unit (ACU)-hour and storage per GB-month, at rates that differ between the Aurora Standard and Aurora I/O-Optimized configurations, with I/O charged per request under Standard and included under I/O-Optimized.[1]
