About
Microsoft is an American software company, founded in 1975 and based in Redmond, Washington, that sells productivity, cloud, security and business applications to organisations alongside consumer software and devices.[2][1] Its business products, among them Microsoft 365, Teams, Copilot, Entra, Intune, Defender, Power Platform and Dynamics 365, are sold as subscriptions bought online, from a Microsoft seller or through a reseller partner.[1][8] Buyers who purchase online or through a partner sign the Microsoft Customer Agreement, which has no purchase minimums.[3][6] Subscriptions bought under it renew at the end of each term unless recurring billing is turned off, and can be cancelled for a prorated refund only within seven days of starting or renewing.[7][8]
