Zoom is the trading name of Zoom Communications, Inc. (formerly Zoom Video Communications), a United States company founded by Eric Yuan in April 2011 to build video conferencing software.[1][2] It is headquartered in the United States and has since grown into an AI-powered collaboration platform spanning meetings, team chat, phone, webinars, rooms and a contact centre.[1] Its published customer agreement is the Zoom Terms of Service, effective August 11, 2023, which together with the Zoom Services Description forms the binding Agreement unless a written Master Subscription Agreement applies instead.[3]
