Grafana Labs is the company behind Grafana, the open-source dashboarding and visualization project that Torkel Ödegaard created in December 2013; the company itself was founded in 2014 and also created and maintains open-source projects including Loki, Mimir, Tempo, Pyroscope, Faro and k6.[1][2] Its commercial flagship is Grafana Cloud, a fully managed observability platform that unifies metrics, logs, traces and profiles, alongside Grafana Enterprise for self-managed deployments.[1][4] Grafana Labs contracts with customers under its Master Services Agreement, which names New York, NY, USA as the governing jurisdiction for US-domiciled customers.[3]
