Fivetran sells a cloud platform that copies data automatically from business apps, databases and files into data warehouses and lakes, and back out again; it is an independent company founded in 2012 and based in Oakland, California.[1] It sells three products, Connections, Transformations and Activations, all priced by usage under one plan with Free, Standard, Enterprise and Business Critical tiers.[2] It grew partly through acquisitions, including Teleport Data and HVR in 2021.[1] Customers buy under Fivetran's Master Subscription Agreement, which renews for successive one-year terms unless either side gives at least 60 days' notice before the term ends.[5]
