Sentry is the trading name of Functional Software, Inc., a US company headquartered in San Francisco and founded in 2012, whose customer contract is the Sentry Terms of Service.[5] [2] It began as an open-source project and now sells a hosted application monitoring platform covering error monitoring, tracing and related signals, and it bought the code coverage service Codecov in December 2022.[1] [2]
